Medical Convo

My dad on exopthalmus (eye bulging) in Graves disease:

"People with exopthalmus have hypertrophy of the extraocular muscles, so these muscles are clearly hyperactive. This causes rapid snapping of their eyeballs from side to side. These folks are clearly prone to visual disorientation, but they never miss a blind spot while driving."
